1. The internet is making human interaction increasingly impersonal.
2. The internet is allowing human interaction to span further than it ever has in a less amount of time.
3. The internet is allowing immense amounts of information to be spread at a rapid rate to any place in the world.

I think the chapter also shows how the internet is becoming a part of American culture, just as television became part of it starting in the fifties and sixties (if I said "picture an American family after dinner. What are they doing?" most responses would be "watching TV on their brand new sixteen inch black and white set.") The chapter said in 2006, seventy five percent of American adults used the internet; I'm willing to bet that number has jumped closer to eighty five to ninety percent now, in just two years.
Good Call. The numbers will skyrocket in the future as the older generations decline.
All true statements. As technological advances continue to be made people seem to grow further and further apart. This makes me question weather technology is helping humanity or if it will eventually end it. I'm not talking about killer robots or anything like that, but if people don't interact with each other who's going to be making all the babies.
